Country
True country living requires country house elements and features separate from suburban or urban homes. Our own personal “NZ obsession with landscape” and many years of “bush time” means reading a country site involves a comprehensive perception which will lead to a great building. -
Beachfront
"I have designed many beach and harbourfront front homes at Mount Maunganui, Tauranga and Papamoa and along the coast from Whitianga to Ohope Beach. I have lived myself on the beach on Marine Parade at the Mount for 12 years in both an old bach and in one of five apartments I designed for permanent living. I find this experience and these amazing sites inspiring and wonderfully variable, giving an ever changing sea and skyscape. Our architecture responds to the both harsh and gentle sea environment and provides spaces which open and close and houses that know how to live by the beach. Will Tatton."

Coastal
When not right on the beachfront achieving views to the sea and being part of a beach lifestyle is a frequent challenge for our design team.We effectively maximise views and work with town planning rules while making the most of opportunities to create great looking buildings. -
Urban/Small Sites
So much is gained from being close to the centre of the action and yet so many problems are created; most of which are new for us as NZers. Our design and living experience with tight sites and tackling these challenges head-on has meant we are now at the forefront of creating innovative and refreshing personal spaces. -
Suburban/Large Sites
More is possible on these sites than most people imagine. The “Kiwi Paradise” is not lost! New adaptation of styles and materials, often from higher density locations, can be used in exciting ways to deliver the dreams we have of space, privacy, outdoor activities and a sense of personal domain.
