This compact house has a big heart. Small in plan overall, the generous single open living space feels grand due to a 3.5m high sloping ceiling. Upper wall glazing also brings in afternoon sun. The very high 3m glass doors make the house feel much bigger and these glide easily to the touch.
The sky is brought into the living space and also into the main bedroom, which has a view to the sea via a large hinged glass door. A surprising openness and privacy is achieved on this tight site. The house is designed to be moved easily to allow higher density development later if required.
