This is a large family home on a commanding site overlooking Rangitoto Island. We have utilised interesting glazing systems and an innovative 3d sketch design process.
Actual 3d diaramas of photos from the site were created and inserted over the 3d model. The owners could look out from planned rooms and see the actual views move realistically as they rotated the virtual model themselves.
The project demonstrates smooth and effective Resource Consent application management required for a substantial new home in an established residential area.
Aesthetics are modernist with practiced care given to proportion and overall composition. The result is a simple, calming and timeless home design.
