Situated right on the ocean beach with stunning views, this project features walls that open up to the outside. Larger than usual glass areas mean the wrap-around deck space adds to the size of all the rooms.

This extremely small but prominent site, only 10.5m in width x 33m in length, boasts fantastic views of the ocean and provided us an exciting challenge to accommodate a two-storey house plus garaging without jeopardising views and aesthetics.

Will Tatton has done a superb job. Our home gives the appearance of being very spacious despite it being a very narrow home.” Dennis Bai

This house project takes a bold approach and successfully achieves what is needed for beach living - getting up high to see far out to sea. 'Lifting -the- back-yard- up' so there is still outside space all around to walk outside.

A sheltered courtyard gives private sunbathing away from onshore breezes. More privacy, light, sun and indoor/outdoor flows are achieved which in turn create long internal vistas providing rooms at the back of the house with a view of the sea.

This project seriously aims to improve quality of life, giving security and a great location, without the disadvantages often associated with higher density living.
