Will Tatton Architecture works closely with the growth of commercial development in Tauranga and Mount Maunganui.  This project involved the refurbishment and re-branding of an existing shopping courtyard in downtown Mount Maunganui.

We looked at the big picture issues and created 'The Cruisedeck' name and concept. Features include the timber boardwalk - giving a natural look and a traditional feel to beachside structures. The sound of footsteps on the deck is a welcome sound and created a commercial point of difference.

Our town planning know-how meant we were able to extend the boardwalk out over into the main street footpath, working with the Main Street Committee and Council Planners.  The result gains further attention of passers by and helps commercial success for the property owners.
