Cladding: Lightweight concrete plastered over timber & steel frame to upper level, concrete block plastered to lower level

Joinery: Aluminium stacking sliding 2.3 metre high doors, breezeway aluminium louvres with fixed glass windowpanes

Roofing: Butynol over ply

Balustrades: Metre high clear glass in aluminium channel

Flooring: Upper floor precast concrete with poured topping, large feature cantilevered decks & concrete block wall columns

Our project brief was to create two apartments or townhouses on this waterfront site. Our design is in duplex format (side by side) complete with internal courtyards, atriums and water features. Materials to be used include “stackbond” blockwork to interior walls and Linea cladding to the garage and courtyard areas. The opposing monopitched roofs give a sense of movement & lightness to balance the solid construction & large glass areas.
